~srhtcyln [Serhat Ceylan]

Henüz ilkokul çağında bir Atlas fotoğrafçısı olmanın hayalini kuran Serhat Ceylan, ancak lise öðreniminin başında 79 model bir Minoltayla fotoğraf çekmeye başladı. İTÜ’deki ilk senesinde fotoğraf çekmeye ciddi anlamda vakit ayırıp Zenith 312m ile dia pozitif çekmeye devam eden Serhat Ceylan, bu süre zarfında kişisel veya grup bazında birtakım projelerde çalıştı. Fotoğraflarında insan öğesini her fırsatta kullanmaktan yana olan Serhat Ceylan, şimdilerde Minolta maxxum 5000 makinasıyla portre fotoğraflarının yanı sıra makro çekimler yapmaktadır ve yakın zamanda belgesel fotoğrafçılığı üzerine yoğunlaşmak istemektedir. Serhat Ceylan, İTÜ’deki 4. senesinde Gemi Ýnþaat Mühendisliği programında öğrenimine devam etmektedir.

Altough he was dreaming to be an Atlas photographer at the primary school days, Serhat Ceylan started taking photos with a '79 model Minolta at the beginning of his high school education In his first year at İTÜ, he gave enough time and care -as he wanted- for photography, and he continued to take dia positives with a Zenith 312m. In this time interval, he worked in some individual and group projects. Serhat Ceylan likes to use People as a subject in his phptpgraps, and nowadays, he uses a Minolta Maxxum 5000 not only for portrait photographing but also for macro photography. Moreover, he wants to concentrate on documentary photography these days. Serhat Ceylan has been studying Naval Architecture in İTU for 4 years.
